As I walked across the fields with blue skies and a rising sun I had this tightening across my chest. Nothing untoward but instead the biggest fear of all, what living in 2021 actually means to me right now.

There are many conversations we may find difficult but right now the one that appears to be very apt at my age, with ageing parents and the concerns it can bring, is the dreaded open conversation about death.
